My family and I had the oopurtunity to stay at your resort this past July for our daugthers 5th Birthday as well as our wedding anniversary. The outstanding service we recieved from the time we arrived to the time we checked out was none other than equisite.

My husband and I did not truly understand the impact this small family vacation had on our 2 year old daughter until Christmas eve...While attending Christmas eve mass our little Megan looked at us both and told us all she wanted for Christmas was to see the horsie " Charlie" again....as tears ran down my face I looked at my husband then my little girl... and said of course honey... we will go back to Stanhope to hopefully be able to see the horse that captured and left a lasting impression on our girl... who up until our trip to Stanhope was terrified of horses!!!

Thank-you for not only allowing us to have a wonderful vacation but also opening up the petting zoo on the day we left to visit the stables and in particular to finally meet Charlie... a name that has become apart of our families daily conversation.

           First and foremost, Mike and I would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you did to make our wedding day so special. There was not one thing that we had a complaint about the whole day, and we can honestly say we had the most fun and the most magical day of our entire lives, so far. You and the other staff at Stanhope were beyond helpful and made the day and the days leading up to the wedding very easy for us. We were very fortunate that it ended up being a beautiful summer day.
          I can tell you that our families and some friends were questioning us and not happy about the fact that we were travelling to PEI for the wedding, but after it was all said and done, both of our families agreed that it could not have been more beautiful, fun and joyful. I'm sure you heard we still had half of our 160 guests still up and dancing at 2:00am, no one wanted the night to end! The hall was absolutely gorgeous. I wish you could have been there that day to see the finished work. Everything really came together perfectly. We had many many comments on how delicious the supper meal and dessert was as well. Please pass that along to the chefs and the servers there at the resort, they did an exceptional job.
           I need to apologize for not emailing you and thanking you sooner. I was actually waiting to get my pictures back from my photographer so I could attach them with the email. Feel free to use them on your site if you wish. The ceremony site that we chose was amazing, and I would highly recommend it to other wedding parties if they are un decisive as to where they wish to have theirs, especially if they have a large numbers of guests. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
          The resort is really one of a kind, an amazing location for such a special day for two people in love. Mike and I will definitely be back in the future to celebrate our anniversarys, or even just for a night away.
           Once again...thank you. You and the staff were exceptional. =)

Yesterday, Corry-Lynn and I went over to Prince Edward Island to visit the Stanhope Beach Resort & Conference Center.  It was adventure in its self to get there as both of us are terrible with directions, can't read a map or GPS, and couldn't quite figure out where South East was.  After a whirlind of lost driving, we finally made it to our destination, and what a spectacular venue it is!

Nestled Near the Covehead Bay, you have a stunning view of the bay and harbour.  Although it was really cold (and my toes nearly froze off), you couldn't help but be awestruck. 

The inside is quaint and exploding with personality. Beautiful rooms, great food, and a stunning venue for weddings, it is well worth the trip up. Not to mention, Susan Freeman, the Director of Sales and Conference Services, has 20 years experience with weddings.  She was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and the length she goes to help the brides is incredible.

The resort, Audrey and staff was above and beyond 150%professional! The Fortis Board and CEO’s said it was the best meetings they can remember.

On his dining experience at Red Dory Fish House:

"Of course I had the chowder to start. It was very good, with a perfect, light consistency and highly seasoned. Definitely not run of the mill, it may be on the podium at the end of the season as we continue our search for the best restaurant chowder on the Island."

Shawn and I just wanted to thank you for all your help and the wonderful service we had at Stanhope. The day was great and so was the food, all our guests really enjoyed themselves. I willl send you along some pictures of the wedding when I get them.
