Motel Normandie

Good place to stay overnight but don't bring to many groceries!

Pros: Motel was just outside of the main downtown area so was fairly quiet! The room was a good size and comfortable! Big ceiling fan provided good airflow! Bed was comfortable and the whole room was clean!

Cons: Only problem for us was the small fridge as didn't really hold a lot of items and no freezer to re-freeze your ice packs!

Peaceful and affordable

Pros: The cleanliness and the quietness was an aset.The frint desk staff was very friendly and nice.We had all what needed in the room.

Cons: The building seems bit old and you can see that in the tub wall area from the discoloration of grout lines.It was ok with me because the price was very much affordable and for all the other great things about this room.

Like everything about the room and location.

Pros: Immediate attention upon arrival. Room is clean and very comfortable. It satisfies our travel needs. Economically, it is within our budget and reach.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike.

Great stay

Pros: The proprietor was very friendly & helpful. The bed was very comfortable & the shower was great. I loved that a flyswat was provided, and that there was a back door to let in air. It was very quiet.

THis little motel has always been a good place to stay on our way to Ontario from Nova Scotia

Pros: I have been staying at this motel for years. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room we were in had been redecorated.

Cons: The bed was very hard.

Pros: Very spacious and clean room. Peaceful place. Enjoyed our staing there.

Nice room and good location.

Pros: Great staff, very friendly. Nice room, LOTS of TV channels, coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. Good location. The room even had a front door and back door, with a nice little table and chairs for a person to sit outside, outside the back door. No air conditioner in my room, so my room would not have been pleasant during hot weather, but the weather was cooler for my September stay.

Cons: The room would definitely need an air conditioner during hot summer weather.

Pros: Really good value! Check in was quick and painless and the location was pretty good. It was a perfect spot for a night's sleep while passing through the area.
