Clean modern apartment near downtown Sherbrooke

Pros: The apartment seems to be quite new, very clean and modern. It is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a small building with a 'dépanneur' on the 1st floor. One reaches the apartment by a rather rickety staircase (that really needs to be replaced). The entrance gives directly into the kitchen (an island for eating separates the entry from the kitchen proper; there is no dining table). The rest of the apartment (living room, 2 bedrooms and bathroom) are reached by a steep staircase, no handrail (so probably not adapted for everyone). The bedrooms are small but each has a closet (there are also closets in the living room and hallway) and big storage drawers under the bed. The kitchen has all of the normal appliances but is somewhat limited in cooking utensils. The neighborhood is not the most chic, rather modest in fact, but one block from King Street and just a few blocks from the older part of town.

Cons: The parking in the lot is very random, and we found ourselves blocked in a couple of times by delivery trucks and others coming to the convenience store on the ground floor. Luckily the wait time was never too long. In the kitchen it would be nice to add a few items, such as a vegetable peeler and a grater (for cheese, carrots, etc). The ceiling lamps in the bedroom are way too bright and should have dimmer switches on them (as in the living room). Only one side of the beds had nightstands and lamps (not ideal when the bed is shared by two).

Mise à part le manque de table pour manger,tout a été parfait!

Pros: Nous avons aimé l’emplacement,tranquille et à proximité des services.L’appartement est beau et très propre.La cuisine est bien équipée, les lits sont très confortables.Un salon qui permet de relaxer et de regarder un grand écran de télé.

Cons: Le manque de table et chaises pour manger.Tabourets inconfortables et l’îlot de cuisine aussi.
