Pros: Delicious included breakfast, very nice staff, comfortable bedroom.

Pros: Lyn, Eric and their sons were amazing hosts. Warm, attentive and always helpful. Breakfast was freshly prepared every morning and changed daily, which was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring the region. We recommend this place without any hesitation.

Our host, Lyn, made us feel very welcome and was attentive to all our needs.

Pros: Lyn offered a different and delicious cooked breakfast every morning. We never went hungry, and we enjoyed our chats with her. The location of L’Ancestrale BnB was perfect for walking into town and down to the lake. The area was lovely to drive around, and we particularly liked Hatley North.

Cons: As 2 older single travellers, we would have appreciated a bigger second bed with appropriate bedding to match. The ground floor room we were allocated would certainly be big enough for this more comfortable addition.

Kindness and quality beyond expectations

Pros: This B&B is absolutely wonderful. The room was very spacious with private access to the garden and a very nice bathroom - all impeccable clean. The breakfast is fantastic and all that you can wish for. But most of all, the hospitality of Lyn, the host, is so welcoming and warm. She will help her guests in any possible way, even when they, as us, did’nt bring proper clothes for the cold weather. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Pros: Lyn runs a beautiful B&B. She is so warm, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The B&B is very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was truly delicious! We were able to walk to a grocery store, pharmacy and many restaurants in less than 5 minutes.

Everything was lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Pros: My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in The Authentic room. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, Lyn and had the opportunity to speak with her husband at a later time. Both of them were very friendly and welcoming. The home is older and is as one would expect from a house of it's era. Our room was spacious and very tidy with a window unit AC, which was lovely as we were there during a heat wave. The bed was comfortable and the room well appointed. The breakfast, served in a lovely dining room, was homemade with fruit and cereal available also. The coffee was delicious! The location was perfect being just a 5 minute walk to the main street and restaurants. While the bathroom was small, it did not present us with any difficulties during our stay.
