Our stay was great, clean and comfortable within easy walking distance of Old Montreal

Pros: front desk staff courteous and polite, friendly and professional at check in and check out

Cons: shower head not fully engaged and most of water escaped through tap. minor plaint we should have tested it upon arrival.

Pros: Reading the reviews from others I wasn't expecting much but I was amazed how beautiful and clean everything was.

Cons: We got confused about the heating. There was a sign in the room that don't touch A/C and everything is turning on automatically so we didn't do anything and as it was DEC and outside was like -12 degrees Celsius it was pretty cold. In the morning my daughter discovered that there is a cover that can be lifted and our heater was turned off. So she turned it on and we could enjoy warmth an hour or so before leaving. We are not familiar with that kind of systems so perhaps additional information could be provided to the next guests :)

handy to cafes and restaurants, warm and cozy

Pros: Was lovely having breakfast available on site, great start to the day

Cons: Would have been nice to have some real cutlery / crockery in the otherwise fully equipped kitchen, there was the option of a coffee but no kettle or tea bag options- not all of us drink coffee. Despite the kitchen having a full fridge/freezer and dishwasher there was no option to prepare any food. Bed was very comfortable but rather lumpy pillows, lounge carpet pretty grubby.
