Smiling house! 2 chambres

we were 4 people in this big 2 bedroom apartment.

Pros: very warm welcome by Rachel.It was such a pleasure tu meet her.Apartment was clean and brigth.It has everything you need and more.Thank you Rachel for your kidness.

Cons: Nothing.

Amazing stay

Pros: The apartment is amazing - clean, well equipped, super comfortable and quiet. Rachel was welcoming and responsive. The place served us perfectly. Great for a family.

Massive apartment

Pros: Rachel was lovely, friendly and happy to share information with us. The apartment is massive and very nice. One word of warning to future guests don't park your car on the opposite side of the road from the apartment as you will get a parking ticket between 2-3pm as we found out after parking there which has cost us $95 (there's a very small sign) but we arrived late at night in the dark so we didn't see it.

Cons: Every thing was fine.

Wonderful place to stay in a charming area.

Pros: Everything was wonderful. We will be back whenever we visit Montréal again.

Cons: Water from the kitchen faucet runs in an unconventional direction. Other than this, everything else was exceptional. The whole family really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: We loved it! It was close to the shops and our tourist destinations and we saw squirrels! Our host was a beautiful soul, warm and caring, who shared some of her own history with us and encouraged us to seek out a diverse range of activities and was ready to help us if we got stuck. It was a home away from home with well-appointed facilities to get our washing done. Our host was generous in providing a little extra cupboard staples and condiments so that we were able to home cook some lovely meals. We were accepted as friends and would be welcomed back should we ever come again to Montreal. Parking was out the front of the home on a one-way street and easily accessible. The owner was happy to talk to us by phone not by a booking app, which made life simple and direct when we arrived. That alone was very much appreciated!!!

Excellent option if you do not need to cook there

Pros: Nice size, good airco, ample parking, public swimming pool one block away. A good mix of snacks, coffee, etc. provided.

Cons: The kitchen had only one pot for cooking and 3 usable pans. Mismatched sorry looking knives and forks. Lacking a few kitchen tools such as: can opener, scissors, plastic spatula for teflon pan. Many items in the cupboards should be thrown away.

The warmest welcome and nicest apartment of our trip

Pros: Lovely spacious complete and well-equipped apartment with a double bed and two singles in another room, a good bathroom and a lovely kitchen with dining area, as well as a lounge with large Smart TV. The host, Rachel, lives upstairs so is available to sort out issues or give advice and suggestions. She provided a welcoming bottle of sparkling juice and a basket of goodies. She speaks good English and has a lovely French accent! Ahuntsic was a nice quiet neighbourhood with good buses and a hospital and shops nearby, and a forest and river not far away.

Cons: We didn't realise that Ahuntsic was the most northerly area of Montreal and the taxi from Central Station cost $55, which was a bit of a shock. Public transport (bus to the train) was good but took at least 40 mins to the city.

Pros: L'espace de l'appartement est vraiment agréable, calme et proche de quelques commerces et du bus. Vraiment belle experience et Rachel est très gentille. Je reviendrais avec plaisir

Pros: Ottimo quartiere residenziale con playground vicini per i nostri bimbi, gentilissima l'host Rachel, molto attenta alle nostre esigenze.

Cons: Non c'è nulla da migliorare.

Reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and highly recommended.

Pros: The house was very nice and comfortable. It had a private entrance, and the entire unit was completely independent with no shared spaces. The towels, bed linens, and pillows were very clean and hygienic. The kitchenware was fully adequate for cooking during a temporary stay. The bathroom was clean and well-kept. The home had a very relaxing atmosphere, and the neighborhood was quiet. A public swimming pool was also nearby, which was a great plus.

Cons: On Mondays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., parking is not allowed in front of the house. (The host kindly allowed us to use their private parking during that time.) Be sure to carefully check the parking signs on both sides of the street. For our convenience, the host kindly placed an extra bed in the living room in front of the TV, which we truly appreciate. However, unfortunately, we bumped into its sharp corners a few times.
