Wonderful Guest Home with the Most Attentive Owner

Pros: Alain the owner was simply amazing, professional, helpful and delightful. We are grateful for all his effort and communication to ensure our stay went well. Alain was quick to share his passion, history and knowledge of the area. His house is a lovely authentic Victorian home. The house is charming, comfortable and just a little bit age-appropriate quirky. The house feels like a true home. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, with more utensils, items, and equipment than you would expect (including staples, a second fridge, high chair and even a raclette machine). The two tables in the dining room pulled together meant our entire group of four generations, could eat together. The hot tub was the best way to end a day of skiing. The town of Waterloo is perfectly situated to ski any of the areas in the Eastern Townships, and I suspect equally well located for summer adventures.

Cons: We were a big group. The pull out sofa bed is not comfortable for an adult. It is also worth noting the description stated two rooms have a double and a single bed. Both of these single beds were folding cots. However, Alain was very helpful in providing extra mattresses.

Pros: Tout etait parfait, la qualite de la literie, un SPA tres bien entretenu et la gentillesse du proprietaire.

Pros: Very well kept. Host was exceptional. Very helpful and wonderful recommendations. If we get to visit again would absolutely love to stay again!

Rien à redire

Pros: Pêle-mêle je dirais: la gentillesse et la disponibilité de l’hôte, la maison est splendide avec ses boiseries, ses planchers…, la propreté des lieux, la quiétude de l’endroit, les produits de soins choisis (pour la douche par exemple), et c’est sans parler de la qualité de la literie. Le petit déjeuner ? Exceptionnel. Comme toute l’expérience vécue. Nous reviendrons !

We enjoy the stay.

Pros: The house has an unique character. Lots of rooms for different groups to gather around. The jacuzzi is really good in the winter time. Great to have bath robe and towels in each room to be used for the jacuzzi. We are in the middle of a snow storm, the owner is really good to keep the driveway clear so the cars can get in and out. As it is right after a big snow storm, the owner is very nice and allow us to stay a bit later so we can wait till the road is clear.

Cons: Some of the pots and pans are really worn out but still functional.

Super hospitalité!!!

Pros: Nous avons apprécié l'hospitalité hors pair de nos hôtes. La maison rustique avec son charme centenaire et nos quelques balades furent riches de rencontres.
