Chalet Beaconsfield Motel

Pros: Great location, easy to find and nestled in a peaceful area. The chalet was fully equipped with everything we needed.

Great atmosphere, Affordable and Convenient

Pros: I booked the chalet for my sister, who was visiting from out of town. I often drive by the motel and was always intrigued by its quaint, nostalgic vibe. The owner was very nice and accommodating regarding check-in and check-out. The room had a stove, fridge, microwave and all the dishes my sister needed. The location is very quiet, in a residential area. It is a block away from a corner store, gas station, tabagie, pharmacy and one of our favourite coffee shops. There is also a restaurant/pub and pizza shop within walking distance. You can also walk down to the lake and sit at parks along the lakeshore. I highly recommend the Beaconsfield Chalet Motel.

Cons: The only thing I noticed was a strong smell of cleaning products. I opened the windows for air circulation before my sister arrived.

Second time almost as great as the first

Pros: Everything. This quaint, clean and wonderfully appointed chalet may not be to everyone's tastes but I love it and try to make a point to stay every time I can. I appreciate the fact I can walk to cafes, pubs and corner stores and just relax. SMALL kitchen is available and if you have supplies you could cook for yourself. Great couryard space if you wanted a bit of outdoor space as well.

Cons: It is on the high end of what I pay for spaces to stay but worth it, I think.

Pros: well appointed room with all the comforts. Only thing missing was a hair dryer.

Cons: My only complaint would be other patrons smoking right outside their rooms. The smell filled my room.

Pros: The reception was understandable of my situation and greatly adapted

Pros: Great location with very flexible checkin and checkout times.

Cons: Sheets are not changed during your stay only at the end. Otherwise cleaning staff is very nice.

Visit this gem in suburbia.

Pros: This lovely motel is an unexpected gem which has made us want to come back. The quirky space was a completely unexpected joy. We had great conversations with other guests in the shared outdoor space. Our kitchenette was exactly what we needed.

Cons: The fact we couldnt book it for another night.

A nice stay with my cat.

Pros: The staff was super friendly and the room was squeaky clean ! Lots of birds and squirrels to entertain my cat and pretty accessible (15min from the airport).

Cons: The bed was old.

Clean, well situated, great staff.

Pros: Very clean and confortable, everything you need for a short stay.

Cons: Everything was a little tired, the plug sockets were a bit wobbly.

Pros: Cute older chalet with good amenities. Close to shops and restaurants. Very walkable, including the riverside parks.
