A fantastic house very nice located

Pros: Very good location, a beautiful building with very nice rooms, modern kitchen and two beautiful bathrooms plus an extra wc. A fantastic house in itself. As we were 8 guests but no couples two of us slept on sofas, while 6 had the very nice bedrooms. If we had been one couple or two instead of 8 males the double or queen beds in the 6 bedrooms would have been sufficient. But we loved the house and the location is really great. Parking for three large pickups worked very well, and we always got answers quickly from the owners/staff. We can only recommend this house.

Room for everyone - part 2

Pros: Close to the Lachine Canal and all of the many walking, biking, kayaking available close by. More than enough room and bedrooms for more than 12 people. Well booked for a family wedding and appreciated the main floor room and flexibility.

Cons: Stairs, stairs, stairs. Not a downgrade. Remember it's a three and a half storey, 1880's house. Without an elevator.

Room for everyone

Pros: Great location, close to walking and biking along the St Lawrence in Lachine. Well laid out main floor for entertaining more than a dozen people. Well equipped kitchen for snacks and light (suggest takeout) meals. Bedrooms are numerous and all different in decor.. Surprise room in the loft! We booked it for a family wedding (Quebec and BC) and found it the perfect \

Cons: Book only if you enjoy stairs! Not a problem really, but this is an 1800's era house that has tall ceilings and 2 floors of bedrooms. With a loft above. This is not a complaint! Information only!

Charming place to stay

Pros: This house was stunning. It has been restored beautifully. The beds were extremely comfortable. This is a very picturesque area and plenty of places to walk and exercise and just sit on a bench and relax. Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance.

Cons: It is a little far out of the city for traveling back and forth.

Great host & spot to stay.

Pros: Great location for walking around. Good area to take transportation by bus, uber, taxi or car to downtown Montreal, dorval airport or dorval train station. Nice area for walking & biking along the lakeshore. I would stay there again.

Pros: Super clean! spacious, only 9 min to airport. Nice walks along the waterfront, free parking for 3 vehicles. Only 3 min walk to delicious chez gourmand restaurant with takeout. Everything we needed.

Overall, I would recommend this property for family gathering.

Pros: The location was excellent. Plenty of room for a large group. Parking accross the street readily available.

Cons: We were 12 people but there were only 8 towels and one face cloth and 1 hand towel. No dish towel except for paper towels. No closet, wardrobe, or hocks to hang clothes in some of the rooms. We were with two seniors who had difficulity using the stairs. They need a second handrail. The beds had a slippery sheet so the bed comforter keep falling off during the night.

Pros: Spacious and clean consider the size of the house. Excellent location near the waterfront, very relaxing.
