Arcadia Hotel Boutique

Pros: The location was superb. The room itself was fantastic. Amenities were perfect. Everything was great, staff was excellent and helpful.

Cons: We did not receive our room code via email or text. This left us scrambling caused a lot unnecessary confusion for the price of this rental. Luckily the receptionist and cleaning lady were helpful, the cleaning lady had the code for us. This happened just in passing. We were also not told the code for the door to get into the hotel after 8pm. It was our door code which we tried. However the door seems to be slightly faulty, after calling the hotel numerous times to no answer our code finally unlocked the main door. Excellent location would recommend however management needs to do a better job of providing this information beforehand. We received close to 10 emails and none had key information.

Gorgeous apartment and a perfect location to stay in Old Montreal.

Pros: Perfect location in Old Montreal. Beautiful apartment with everything you need. Benjamin was really helpful when we arrived.

Cons: We were on the 4th floor and there is no lift, however we soon got used to the stairs and Benjamin helped with our suitcases so no issues.

A gem in the heart of Montreal Old Port

Pros: Beautiful room. On the top floor. It was quiet and very comfortable with all the amenities you may need. Superb location.

Cons: The luggage shaft was not working at the time. But hotel staff had already informed us that it was under repair.

Self check-in hotel. Needs improvement on check in process.

Pros: The location was spectacular. Easy walking to restaurants and to metro for access to all of Montreal. Parking nearby for 24 hr parking was pricey but well monitored and secure. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice view.

Cons: The self check in process could be improved. They want you to do the verification in the 24 hrs before you arrive. If you forget or if you are in the process of traveling you can be delayed getting into your room. The staff at the hotel should be able to do your verification for you and confirm you and give you access to your room . As it was , I did the verification while waiting in the lobby and it said I was verified but waited another 40 minutes for access code to our room. They can accept visa payment and send you a receipt instantly (with a no refund policy) but it took 40 minutes for the access code to come for our room. The check in process needs to be better. Staff should have access to the portal to check in weary travelers that are having difficulty with the system. In this day and age this system needs to be instantaneous. It should never take that long.
