Le Merrill - Vieux Montréal

Great location, excellent value

Pros: Everything was perfect. Communication, check in, the host's attention. The apartment was spacious and very clean, beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped (bring your own food). Bathroom clean and functional, everything there, soaps and shampoos. The building is a bit acoustic but this was not a problem. The location cannot be beat, in the heart of the Old City, just steps from the Basilica Notre Dame, The Museum of Illusion, entry to the Underground City and many other interesting places. Great restaurants and cafes nearby.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The place was great, its a great place to stay long periods. To bad we were there only 1 night

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is close to everything, especially the ski slope, and very close to the village. We would definitely come back, and we highly recommend it to friends and family.

Pros: I used to be in the port of montreal a lot in my career as a seafarer and ship caretaker. I hadnt been there in years. It was a nostalgic visit to an area I knew well.

Cons: I sincerely cannot think of anything lacking for the purpose and duration of my stay. I did not prepare any of my own meals though the means to do so were supplied and more than adequate. Possibly a microwave if I was there for a week or more, but hardly necessary.

Perfect location, great value, and large apartment space.

Pros: Location is fantastic! It's right by the Notre Dame Basilica and in the middle of the old town with lots of eateries and shops nearby. The apartment itself was a great size, with ample room for two of us.

Cons: It doesn't have the most amenities and the elevator doesn't go down so you'll have to take the stairs (in case accessibility is a concern).

Pros: Location was excellent. Apartment was very clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet for the busy location.

Pros: The property was in a great location, and they provided all the toiletries you need (facial soap, body wash, towels, etc.). Also, check in/out was easy and the air conditioning worked great.

Cons: There were a lot of spiders in the room, so that's something to consider if you have a fear of them.

Pros: Location and size of apartment excellent. So much so that we ignored the apartments deficiencies.

Cons: TVs inoperable. Bed squeaky. Washer/dryer inoperable. The issues were not resolved during our 5-day stay.

Pros: We loved the location, so close to Notre Dame, restaurants and Old Port. We found the access not to be a problem. Apartment was large and spacious. We really appreciated the extra fans to keep us cool over night. The apartment is kitted out with everything you need on your stay.

Cons: I’m sorry to talk toilets but we had to plunge it on 3 separate… very grim occasions.
