Private Hummingbird Room - Modern & Cozy

Everything we needed and more!

Pros: Beautiful location with everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were wonderful and went over and above to make sure we were comfortable.

I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to return myself.

Pros: The hosts were very friendly. The location was close to downtown and Owl’s Head. The room was cozy and they have a cute cat.

Pros: Tout était très mien mise à part que la réservation nous indiquait deux lits et que nous avions un lit double.

Cons: The kitchen is a bit small, especially that we are sharing it with the hosts - but they are very accomodating.

The place is lovely, and so are the hosts. One of the nicest rooms I have ever rented in a private home. Highly recommen

Pros: The pictures don’t do the room justice. It was very cute and cozy, nicely decorated, with special touches including an electric fireplace and filament bulbs for warm lighting. The bed was very comfortable as well. The sofa does not fold out but there is a folding mattress that the hosts laid out on the floor and made up for us when we arrived. There was also a well outfitted shared kitchen and small shared dining area with access to a nespresso machine. But the highlight was a little pond in the woods in back that was frozen over and converted into a private secret ice rink. My daughter forgot her skates so the hosts lent them a pair of theirs which happened to fit perfectly, and they helped to plow the snow off the ice! Also, the nearby town of Mansonville is tiny but very cute, with a lovely pub/restaurant, the Pineapple. And skiing at Jay Peak is just half an hour away. Crossing the border is super easy.

Cons: The water pressure was a little low.

Convenient and lovely rental !

Pros: This is a great place to stay if you are skiing at Owls Head Ski Resort (and I'm sure there are plenty of summer activities in the area too). The hosts were very responsive to questions I had prior to my visit, they gave very detailed instructions for entering the property, and they stayed connected and even greeted me and I got to visit with them briefly. It was perfect for what I was doing. Thank you so much!

Pros: Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été enchanté par le site et l'accueil des hôtes. Je recommande à 100% et j'espère y retourner pour les vacances plutôt que pour le travail.
