An excellent place to stay in heart of Montreal.
Pros: The location was FANTASTIC! Host was friendly and helpful. The apartment was cozy and comfortable. Beds were super comfortable. Size of accommodation was great. Kitchen equipped for cooking own food. Bus stop right outside door.
Cons: Mindful that there are stairs, so not suited if you have mobility issues. Front door to apartment building was often left unlocked or propped open by other tenants in the property - made building corridor drafty and cold. Dishwasher works, but door a little wonky and kept falling open if just closed without latching. Wall between the 2 bedrooms was thin, so you could hear when people talking in next room.

The pluses definitely outweigh the noise grievances and we would definitely stay again and hope that the child had grown
Pros: The location was fabulous! The decorations were very cool, the kitchen well equipped everything was clean and tidy. Bedsheets were crisp, clean cotton with comfortable duvets, and lots of pillows and plentiful towels, and linens. The box of slippers by the front door were very much appreciated during the Montreal winters, where one needs to remove their boots at the door to keep from tracking in and gravel and salt. The host was very responsive and accommodating. You could tell that the owners gave this apartment love.
Cons: This stay would’ve been quite splendid if it weren’t for the heavy footed toddler in the apartment above running from one end to the other starting at 7:15 in the morning. Sadly, impossible to sleep. The noise continued until around noon, and this was every day of our stay. Also, The very steep stairway, which is certainly typical of Montreal apartments, but in this case, the handrail was rather loose and there wasn’t any handrail on the first six steps to the entrance. There was so much gravel and salt outside on the sidewalk that of course it was tracked into the building and also typical of Montreal apartments….The stairways aren’t often vacuumed or swept so even if your shoes were clean, they would get dirty just walking up the stairs.

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The owner’s responsiveness and friendliness really stood out, and we appreciated
Pros: I had a really nice stay during Halloweekend. The owner was incredibly kind and communicative, he made sure we got there safely and checked in to see that everything was going well. The instructions were very clear to get in the apartment, and the place itself was beautiful, clean, spotless, and exactly as described.
Cons: The only small downside was that there was some construction in the morning, which made things really noisy and it kind of made it difficult to sleep. It might not be an everyday thing though, but it did happen during our stay unfortunately. Other than that, everything else was perfect. And the night that we arrived, it was peaceful and comfortable, and we felt completely at ease.

A clean, comfortable stay, central to some of the best of Montreal.
Pros: Clean and comfortable apartment. Location could not have been better -- Practically next door to the art museum, good restaurants and entertainment. Perfect for a walk up to (gently) hike Mont Royal. We appreciated the images provided with instructions to help get keys and find our way to the apartment. Communication via Booking.com was easy, and host was very responsive. Make sure you play Klask (in the drawer by TV)!
Cons: The following has been addressed (or is being addressed) by host: There was virtually no hot water, and we had to ask for the wifi password. We had brief confusion when we arrived, as the apartment number and key box was the door next to the number listed. I suggest the host prepare a book of instructions, such as where to park (nearby garage), wifi info, how to work the coffee pot, etc.).
