Hotel Gault

Fabulous

Pros: I booked this hotel for the last two nights of my trip as a treat! It’s not cheap but from the moment I stepped foot in the lobby I knew it was going to be a wonderful experience! And Hotel Gault did not disappoint! My room was huge, clean with lovely little touches like the valentines chocolates and welcome note I received on arrival. It was super clean and modern, but classic at the same time, the bed was incredibly cosy and comfortable and I appreciated my complimentary hot drink on arrival which was delivered to my room and the coffee machine and kettle! Such a treat. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I didn’t want to leaven I will definitely go back.

Cons: Nothing! The only thing I could say is that the gym is tiny - jus one running machine and one cross trainer and some weights. But there are no mats, no towels and no water facilities. For such a luxurious hotel I was disappointed…

Great location and really good place to spend a few days exploring Montreal

Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the location for tours and exploring was really good

Cons: The gym was sub standard for how good the rest of the hotel was. A sauna would have been the icing on the cake.

Pros: Staff was excellent..thank you Ella for your funny but professional attitude. The hotel building has a lot of character and the rooms are quiet.

Cons: The treadmill in the gym was broken for the full stay. Had a chance to go to use the sister hotels gym which was in walking distance.

Great rooms in a tidy downtown location

Pros: One of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in - very spacious and comfortable. Lovely staff - really friendly and helpful. Location is handy for downtown attractions.

Cons: Not much not to like, but if you like a full restaurant or bar experience in your hotel this might not be for you. The breakfast is great but limited vibe after that.

Pros: Super nice hotel. A mix of old and new! Great service! Beautiful, clean room with a wrap around terrace.

Cons: If I’m being really picky, a power outlet near the bed would have been handy.

Super friendly staff, very relaxing stay for us and our dogs!

Pros: - Pet friendly ( we stayed with two dogs) - Great breakfast and lobby/dining area - Big and clean room - Friendly staff

The hotel provided a well located base for sightseeing and the breakfasts were excellent

Pros: We liked the breakfasts very much and the location of the hotel. Everything was very luxurious

Cons: There was no dressing table or any surface to sit at to do make up and hair drying/styling in our room. We also found that the staff weren’t very knowledgeable about the drinks on the menu that we wanted to order.
