The two times that I stayed here were the two best vacations I ever had in Trois Rivieres.

Pros: Marco has a restaurant fridge and a full kitchen so guests can take care of themselves. Excellent place for travelling on a budget. Less than 5 minutes from the downtown and historic Rue des Ursulines. Meeting people from all over the world. The security of the place is very good. I would most definitely stay here again. Marco himself is quite personable.

Cons: A couple of delinquent guests forgot to do their dishes, but the great majority of the guests are very conscientious about cleaning up after themselves.

Pros: This hostel is absolutely amazing! The place is clean, cozy, and fully equipped. The price is very reasonable, and the location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of downtown Trois-Rivières, making everything easily accessible.

Good atmosphere

Pros: Nice place, surrounded by trees and little houses. Good atmosphere and helpful staff. I tried two single rooms (with and without shower) and they were both quiet, with very comfortable beds.

Cons: It's a hostel with space for many people, so your comfort obviously depends on the others. The shared bathroom downstairs was a bit depressing.

Cost hostel in Trois-Rivières

Pros: Stayed in a comfortable private room with air conditioning and shared bathrooms. The hostel is in a heritage house and feels like you're a guest at someone's home rather than a hotel. Located an easy walking distance to the old town and the downtown area

Cons: The shared showers in the basement need a renovation. Floors are creaky because it's an old house.

A gem of a place!

Pros: It’s a heritage building really tastefully decorated. Great furniture, beautiful photos on the walls, hardwood floors throughout, antique table for dining, bay windows, balconies, big trees all around, and an incredibly well-stocked bilblioteque a block away bordering on a park! I could live at this auberge!

Pros: Very nice rooms, good communal lounge / dining room / well-stocked kitchen. Clean, comfortable, and pleasant!

Cons: Probably best to wear waterproof flip-flops in the basement communal showers.
