Pleasant hostel for solo travellers

Pros: I was nervous booking here as I have had bad experiences with hostels before (even in private rooms), but my experience here was extremely pleasant. The staff were welcoming and a male receptionist kindly offered to take my bag upstairs, which I was grateful for as I have a hidden disability and had no chance of lifting 20kg up 3 flights of stairs. When I requested housekeeping I returned to a clean room with fresh towels. I had no issues with noise during my stay. The included breakfast was also a bonus, with a large variety of pastries, bread and fruit, with the condition being you wash and dry whatever dinnerware you use. The hostel is 5 mins away from the train and bus, so it is an excellent place for those relying on public transport. I also thoroughly appreciated the laundromat in the basement as it saved me a long walk; the reception also offers laundry pods for sale if you don't have your own powder/liquid.

Cons: All private rooms are on the 3rd floor, which involves a lot of stairs. The washing machines and dryers could use with a good clean but they were still usable.

As a solo traveler, the hostel provided a safe, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

Pros: Great location with a metro station within walking distance. There’s a grocery store right across the intersection and a pharmacy just one block away. Free breakfast is a nice bonus and is available from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Housekeeping comes almost every day, and the rooms are kept clean. There’s a study room and a laundry room, both open 24/7. Super friendly and helpful staff who make you feel at home, and it’s easy to meet other friendly travelers from around the world. As a solo traveler, the hostel provided a safe and comfortable place to stay. Guests were generally quiet at night, respectful of each other, and did not disturb one another.

Cons: The price is very reasonable, and for what I paid, I really can’t say there was anything to be dissatisfied with. Since I only stayed briefly in Montreal, a hostel was an affordable option and a good way to meet new people It would be even better if the hostel could offer a more varied breakfast.

Great hostel!

Pros: I booked the hostel for a night before my train. Prime location, clean amenities, big kitchen/fridge, nice breakfast, daily activities, and friendly staff.

Cons: It will be great if there's a lighting policy in place as I encountered a roommate who slept under me requested me to turn off the overhead lighting at 8PM while I was organizing my stuff. In addition, she also requested me to turn off my personal lamp at 10PM while the room is already dark in her favor. She's the only reason making the staying experience unpleasant to me. If I came back, I would request a lower bunk bed to avoid something similar happening again.

Very good very nice

Pros: Tidy place, they also offer activities and have a good service overall.

Cons: The only bad thing was that the bed was only 1.90m long, which can be uncomfortable for tall people.
