Nice boutique

Pros: Very central location, well equipped room and very helpful staff. Simple but nice continental breakfast.

Cons: Soft mattress which wasn't good for my back.

Pros: The location was excellent-walkable to metro etc. Close to many great restaurants.

Cons: Room did not have extra seating, a little small. Would have liked a table for eating since breakfast brought to the room. Not many attractions or suggestions of things to do from staff. They were very friendly however.

Hotel Epik, Montreal 😊

Pros: Good location in the old town. Plenty of restaurants and close to the St Lawrence river. Lovely continental breakfast included. Staff were great, especially Catherine 😊

Cons: It was a shame the hotel restaurant wasn't open and the hotel bar was spasmodic in its opening. Roadworks outside were annoying but that was no fault of the hotel itself. There are a lot of very steep steps in the annex and no lift, so be prepared.

Wonderful stay, in a great location and in an excellent hotel.

Pros: Location and the helpfulness of all the staff especially Catherine at reception who helped plan our itinerary.

Cons: The hotel is in a historic building in the old town as such it had no lift and steep stairs, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Surprisingly good little hotel

Pros: Loved location, staff and room size. Bed was pretty comfy. Coffee machine good, no kettle so no tea. Great initiative re sustainability which we appreciated. Breakfast was croissants, coffee/ tea and snacks. A good start to the day. Also can get 20% off dinner at sister hotel restaurants which was great.

Cons: No lift. Did get lots of help from staff though for luggage. Windows still sealed shut for winter so room a bit stuffy but understood this. Lighting a bit low but good for reading in bed. TV good too with some free movie channels.

A great place to stay in old Montreal

Pros: The hotel is in a 200 year old building near the old port Montréal. It combines the old building with modern facilities - like the bathrooms really well. The location means that sightseeing around the old port is near and shopping in the centre of the city is not too much of a walk away. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful and could recommend great places to eat nearby.

An escellent base to stay when visiting Montreal. Would definitely book there again.

Pros: Excellent small boutique hotel in the old town surrounded by restaurants, bars and little cafes and shops. A minute walk to the old port with interactive exhibitions and plenty to do for couples and families alike. The staff are exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room (101) was enhanced by the simulated open fire which added to the cosy feel of the room. Excellent bathroom facilities with modern amenities. Fresh croissants and coffee for the included breakfast.

Cons: Advertised as having a bar and restaurant but this was closed for the duration of our stay. Unclear why.
