Lovely place run by lovely people.

Pros: Very comfortable with everything you need, and more.

Pros: friendly staff always there to serve with extra mile

Pros: At first the friendliness of our host was overwhelming, but he is a great guy with a good heart. He made sure we feel comfortable and have everything we need. We got a very nice room which was not located right by the street, so it was quiet. We had our own bathroom, and i didn’t think the shower courtain was a problem(since others mentioned that). Breakfast was nice, the host puts everything you might need on the table and you can then make yourself eggs or whatever you need, and then clean up your stuff, which is totally fine considering the price. You might have breakfast at the table with some other guests.

Cons: The neighbourhood was really shady and (not trying to be disrespectful) but some interesting people where hanging out in front of the house. That might make some travelers uncomfortable, however as we were two guys we didn’t really have a problem with that and it’s also worth noting we did not have an unpleasant interaction of some kind. The bed we slept in was not really great, i think this was one of the points that confused as at first: The appartment has a beautiful porch in the back with lovely lights and bluetooth speakers and our room had a new curved tv screen. But the bed was uncomfortable, seemed really old and was not made properly. We just felt like the priorities were a little jagged, as I think a nice, clean and comfy bed is the most important part for guests. HOWEVER do not get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay, we got a good sleep and I would definetly come back with my friends!

Pros: The manager was very nice. We have kids so he lent us an airbed, gave us some instant noodles for late dinner, he even lent us a small table for eating. Far better than I expected

Pros: The location is absolutely perfect, not too central, but at the metro, so very convenient for visiting the city. The price was absolutely amazing and the host was so nice!

Pros: Really good place The host was friendly. Good breakfast options. Comfortable atmosphere. Good location to main city.

Pros: We had a great time here! Very soft beds, good breakfast and cozy room. We had everything we needed. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again, recommend this place!

Perfect comfy Homely place.

Pros: Incredible!! Breakfast was very nice!! We had everything we need. Location was very good, but we have our own car. 20 min from downtown. Robert was worried about us, our children felt like home all was very good!!! I fully recommend it!!

Cozy and convenient.

Pros: Breakfast was provided by the stay and we had good options to choose from. Got to say Hi to fellow travellers as well. It felt like a cosy homestay and caretaker helped with everything we needed to know.

Pros: Maison Montplaisir has a friendly, welcoming enviroment. They provide a nice breakfast: eggs, fruit, cereal, muffins, toast, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, in a clean, cozy kitchen environment. Rob, the manager, is very friendly and accommodating.
