Nice stay in a quaint auberge

Pros: This is an eclectic and interesting place in a great location. Some people don’t like this, but I like the “staffless” entry, where you are provided with clear instructions and your room code in advance. No fuss! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Love the shared coffee area where you could make as much coffee or tea as you like. Also fresh towels etc you can help yourself to if you run out.

Cons: Only stairs to get to your room, so accessibility may be an issue. The bathroom was tiny — if you are above average in size you may feel a little claustrophobic on the toilet. Not sure if the microbrewery downstairs is the same owner, but the staff were rude when we waited to be seated - we ended up going to the neighbouring microbrewery across the river instead.

Attractive apartment but problems getting a good night’s sleep

Pros: We were three people staying in the suite. The accommodation has fantastic visual appeal and a lovely view of the river. The staff in the restaurant downstairs were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent.

Cons: 1. It was difficult to find the accommodation. The listing should clearly state that it is located above the restaurant and that you enter via the reception of the restaurant. 2. The property is advertised as having two bedrooms, however the second “bedroom” is part of the living area. 3. The property is advertised as having a sofa bed, however in reality this is a fold up single camp bed. We had to wheel it into the kitchen to give privacy to the person who was using it. 4. The light from the passageway Sean into the apartment all night so it was impossible to get the room dark. Also, the fridge in the kitchen was noisy (and it was impossible to turn it off). For these two reasons,I was unable to get a good night’s sleep.

great location, value for money.

Pros: Great location as it is right across Pointe-Merry Park and great walking score. It is a budget accommodation, rooms are small and basic. microbrassiere has great dock/patio accessible to hotel customers and we had a good time late night and early morning when there were no other customers.

Cons: there are no microwave for client use.

Pros: best location in Magog. Above resto but very quiet

Cons: a bit dated

We were here for the triathlon in May. God and the location was great for everything that we needed.

Pros: Location was perfect central for everything that we had to do and see. Restaurants below was great.

Cons: A bit surprised to see all the stairs that we needed to get to the room. Not great for people with walking issues.

Pros: Very nice and clean. There is a restaurant downstairs just by the river. Beautiful view.

Cons: The instructions on the wall are only in French and not correct. For example for Wifi. Unfortunately, we don't speak French. So we had problem with it. Pillows were little hard for me. Bathroom was very small but clean. Other than that, it was great.

Pros: The building was wonderfully quirky with lots of nooks and crannies steps going up and down in unexpected places. All the bedrooms were different. I loved how unconventional it was and the deck and beer bar were so fun! The location was great as well.

Cons: Our bathroom was really tiny and had a very harsh light bulb.

Pros: Clean and extremely comfortable. Excellent value for the money.

Cons: The main door to the building is locked after 11PM and is very difficult to open.

Pros: we really liked this stay only one night but it was just perfect a fantastic room (no3) super clean with everything and more you might need it's above a restaurant and bar so food and drink on site super friendly staff excellent bar and food just a really great place for 1 night or more 11/10 we would have stayed longer but for our itinerary.....thank you everyone

Nice place at a great location

Pros: Room was very spacious, clean and well designed. Location was perfect. Everything worked as mentioned on the website.

Cons: Parking for hotel guests could have been better demarcated. We had to fight for a spot with restaurant guests.
