Beautiful hotel in the middle of Montreal

Pros: Both location and breakfast were great. Room was very clean and spacious, perfect for our family. The bathroom was perfect also. Swimming pool was great for entertainment, water was a bit cold.

Cons: Communication could have been much better but the staff did their best and helped us with a great stay.

Great hotel to stay in Montreal

Pros: Famous for their name, it's no surprise that the Ritz-Carlton is considered one of the best hotels in Montreal. Situated in downtown Montreal, it's a great place to book if you plan on visiting the area. From the staff, service, room and cleanliness, you'll have a near perfect experience and if there's any issues, don't hesitate to contact the reception. I'd also like to give a huge shout out to Arlene who emailed me before our stay to see if I needed anything extra. She made sure our stay would have a little extra touch to make it even more special - something none of the other hotels in the area do.

Cons: We did have a couple of small nitpicks that could easily boost the experience even more: - Despite being in a suite, there was surprisingly no stocked mini bar or snacks. Compared to other 5 star hotels in the area that offers a huge variety, it's a bit of a shame. - We had difficulties contacting room service - for some reason, 2 out of the 3 phones in the room were not connecting properly. - Because of the above, it would be interesting to see if they'd like to look into room service via a touchpad, TV or smartphone. The Four Seasons is a good example of a hotel chain trying to change the antiquated way of requesting simple things to your room into something much more modern. - The big breakfast options were very tasty, but sadly lacking in quantity. I was expecting a little bit more considering the price and how most guests rated their breakfast highly.

Loved our suite loved the hotel and the reception , concierge, bellman and barman were lovely .

Pros: Loved the style , the decor and the feel of the hotel

Cons: Just one interaction with host at the restaurant/ bar on our first evening. Wasn’t made to feel quite as special as I would have expected . We were dressed casually as had just arrived and she asked for room number straight away ( although people can come in off street to drink/eat there) when she knew our suite number I felt her approach improved.

A great city hotel, perfect for seeing Montreal.

Pros: Excellent room service, cleaning staff was very efficient and helpful. The location cannot be beaten, right next to the Fine Arts museum and in the downtown core. The restaurant was fantastic.

Ritz Carlton ill be back....again

Pros: From front door to front office, all of the hotel staff are wonderful, helpful and attentive. Rooms are clean and well attended to and the ritz never disapoints.

Cons: Paying my bill, but they are worth every cent I spend, as they say you get what you pay for

Ultra comfortable and great!

Pros: I could not fault the staff at The Ritz-Carlton. They were exceptional. We had an upgrade to a Junior Suite which was amazing!

Cons: The only complaint we had was that instead of teaspoons we had wooden sticks

Pros: Exceptional friendly service from all staff at the Ritz Carlton. Whether it's the valet driver, front desk, restaurant employees, you will find everyone to be in a great mood and always greet you with a smile and warm welcome.

amazing location, amazing staff, and amazing amenities.

Pros: from the time we got out of our car, we were greeted by friendly employees. once checked in, the macaroons and pastries in the room that seemed homemade were outstanding. The bathroom was the best, amazing. the bar was great. we did not dine there but had some drinks. Overall, great value. I tried to stay there again a couple weeks later but was sold out. The best Ritz that I have ever been to.

Cons: I liked everything about the property. the only thing i didnt like was it was a short stay and would have liked to stay longer.

Wonderful stay

Pros: The hotel is in a great location right in the center of Montréal, close to all restaurants and shops. The room we stayed in was large (nearly 50sq meters) and had deep bath as well as a shower and a dedicated dressing room. The service was amazing as you’d expect, but all the staff were exceptionally lovely and went above and beyond our expectations - the trip was for my wife’s birthday and the staff put petals on the bed and left some chocolate treats and a birthday card for her, what a lovely touch that has made our trip very special. There were plenty of choices for breakfast, and the food was delicious. We sat in the courtyard garden while ducks were roaming by - a lovely atmosphere.

Cons: Nothing- Everything was great!
