Over all, 3.5 out of 5.

Pros: I'm really grateful for the breakfast. There were toast, spreads, banana, apple, milk, orange juice, and cereal. It was a good breakfast! The price is good for Montreal. The staff was friendly. Overall, it's not a 5-star hotel, but I like what I got for the price I paid.

Cons: I could smell smoke. The environment is not super clean. the outside was a bit dirty, and there was a sock, and empty shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower. In the middle of the night, people walking through the hallway and opening the doors can be really loud; I was awoken several times.

Cons: Breakfast as expected rather simple. Difficult to lock the door with our key. In some shower, did not manage to get warm water.

Once again, met my expectations!

Pros: Great location, our room (201, facing sainte catherine's street) was big. Staff is super friendly. Free breakfast is nice, saves time if you are in town just for the weekend and want to head out fast for activities or shopping. We stayed at that hotel about 6 times in the last 2 years: we will keep going back.

Cons: It can get noisy between midnight and 3h00 a.m. (people getting out of bars/party): you can always request a room with windows not on sainte-catherine's!)
