Expectations were exceeded

Pros: I've never had such a great experience at a hotel. the staff was extremely kind and helpful. everything was clean. The beds and bedding was comfortable. the pricing on point. great location too.

Pros: The staffs are great and the room was spacious and smells like flowers. I love it . Maybe a different bed next time .

Pros: The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was nice, and clean.

Cons: The $200 deposit is a bit steep. But I am guessing there have been problems in the past which leads to having this $200 deposit in place. It should be clearly stipulated on the website at the time of booking.

Pros: The price is right ,the room could have been detailed a little better (dusted and vaccum baseboards)however clean no bugs and the staff were very professional and kind .. Will definitely go back again ! P.s The breakfast restaurant was very good ,there is a gym ,outdoor skating in winter and outdoor pool in summer .Great location super close to everything .

Cons: I didn't like that the baseboards were dusty ,the robes had stains and under the bed was dusty .

Cosy and comfortable

Pros: Staff were very nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable and all amenities were solid. Close to shops and stores near by and only a cheap uber from the main city

Beautiful vintage hotel! Would stay again

Pros: Comfy beds and pillows! Wonderful restaurant (Ben & Florentine) and a great location. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings, love the panel that slides across the window, making for a cozy dark sleep. Front desk staff are great, very friendly and accommodating. Decor is cool and vintage, very festive for the holidays.

Cons: Parking lot was an ice rink; cocktail lounge was closed; a little wear 'n tear in the bathroom that needs fixing

Pros: Room is spacious. Staff friendly. Clean. Good location.

Cons: Noise at night but I dont know where it came from. Maybe from the hot water machine or heater?

Great place to stay when you are in Montreal

Pros: The room was clean, great king size bed that was comfortable to sleep on. Nice spacious area with a lovely bathroom. The location was super close to many bars, amenities and restaurants.

Cons: Breakfast should be included. Rooms could have a better view
