Traumhaft, next time again

Pros: We were on a city break in Montreal in Oktober and found what we were looking for in terms of accommodation. The location is great, and you can reach the city center on foot in about 20 minutes. The subway station and train station at the Centre-Bell are 10-15 minutes away. There are some good places to eat nearby, as well as small shops and a supermarket for shopping, as you can cook in the apartment itself. Extremely courteous and friendly local people, always eager to help in case of a problem. Very nice spacious apartment with balcony and city view on the 9th floor. Beautiful bathroom, bedroom with double bed and huge window with fantastic view of the skyline. Kitchenette, dining area, TV sofa, and balcony in one room, but very well laid out. Relatively quiet area, occasional traffic noise, but within limits. The best thing about fog-free mornings is the Impressive view north toward the Montreal skyline; every sunrise is a dream

Near-to-perfect Apart Hotel near Lachine canal

Pros: Very comfortable, well furnished apartment with a design kitchen in a newly developed neighbourhood, good restaurants nearby, well connected to public transport

Cons: The digital check-in; the loading down of my digital key did not function due to a technical problem not on my side; apparently for most people it worked out, however, a good service shows up, when there is a problem: in my case finally the local staff gave me traditional electronic keys, but WERFY did not provide the location where to find it, actually apartment 408, the hotel reception did it. And some more hangers would be useful.

Pros: Excellent location, perfect size, clean. We arrived at 1:30am and our digital didn’t work but someone arrived within 5 minutes with physical keys. Excellent customer service

Nice apartments

Pros: a) The room had absolutely everything I needed, fully equipped and convenient to use b) The staff was prompt to reply and helpful. Easy communication via WhatsApp c) Nice location and safe surroundings d) The room was exactly as booked and matched the description and pictures provided

Cons: a) The online check-in through their app failed, but staff was quick to deliver a plastic room key. b) The biggest issue is that I was not able to store my luggage. With check-in time after 4pm and check-out 11am it would be nice to be able to safely store the bags for some hours, but there was no such service. c) No basic room service. Not an issue for short stays, but my stay was 2 weeks long, it would be nice to have at least one cleaning service during that long period.

Pros: Very nice stay, everything was clean, spacious and view on the city was great. Balcony included. I would recommend this place.

Cons: It felt strange entering a building of a different hotel, passing by a reception of that hotel, going to the floor of your room and waiting for a person to give you keys (you notify the person via WA message). Would't it make more sense to just have an office/official desk at the ground floor where you can go to pick up keys?

Nice, clean apartment in a new neighbourhood. But may be slightly overpriced.

Pros: Location was great. About 10-15 min walk from Downtown Monteral. Room was in a new, highrise appartment. Extremley clean. Basic, but modern appliances. Though small, the studio didnt feel cramped.

Cons: For the price, I was expecting a bit more, especially basic amenities. The main reason most people (well, at least for me) get aparthotels, is to have all the basic hotel amenities but stay in an appartment. With this place, even the most basic of things came with an additional hefty price. Check-in was between a specific time period (which is totally fine), but checking any time out of those times (even by 5 min) would incure a $120 CAD (approx) charge. Want late check out: $100 CAD till 2pm, otherwise a full day rate. If you're family, and want a crib: $150 CAD, basic house cleaning (like you would in a hotel) $150 CAD. There were a few other additional charges as well, but can't remember the full list. For the price, I might as well get an actual Appartments that is more spatious than a slightly spatious, or get a hotel room (or pay slightly more for the nicer hotels with brekkie) Also, traffic was loud at times, even though I realtively high up.
